ZEHN PARTNERS · Finance & Business Advisory

A finance and business advisory practice with responsibility in view.

ZEHN PARTNERS undertakes defined finance work for businesses and professional accounting and advisory firms. We bring accounting preparation, financial analysis and practical follow-through to requirements that need careful work and an identifiable output.

The practice is led by co-founders Imad Ul Amin, ACA, and Muhammad Moazam Bhatti, CBA, with delivery coordinated from Pakistan. Together, they stand behind how ZEHN’s work is scoped, organised and delivered.

Our operating principle is Visible Responsibility: an engagement should make clear what ZEHN will prepare, who will check it, what remains open and which decisions stay with the client or engaging firm.

Discuss a requirement

One practice, two working relationships

For a business, our work supports the people responsible for its financial information and decisions. That may be an owner managing finance directly or a finance leader commissioning a defined workstream. The purpose is to provide work they can use to understand the position, review an issue or plan what comes next.

For an accounting or advisory firm, our preparation enters the firm’s own review process. The brief, documentation and handover need to fit that relationship, so the firm can assess the work and continue its client engagement. Its professional judgement, final review and applicable sign-off remain with the firm.

These relationships call for different deliverables and review arrangements. They share the same expectation of ZEHN: complete the agreed work, make its basis understandable and bring unresolved matters to the right person’s attention.

The co-founders

Imad Ul Amin, ACA

Co-founder

Imad completed his Chartered Accountancy qualification in 2026 and his professional articleship at A. F. Ferguson & Co., a member firm of the PwC network, in Pakistan.

His prior experience includes external audit and financial-reporting assignments across manufacturing, cement, education and development-sector organisations. That work involved complex reporting environments, governance assessments and internal-control evaluation, providing a foundation for examining how financial information is prepared and used.

At ZEHN, he shares responsibility with Muhammad Moazam Bhatti, CBA, for the direction of the practice and the arrangements made for each engagement.

Muhammad Moazam Bhatti, CBA

Co-founder

Moazam is a Certified Business Accountant (CBA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a CA finalist. He completed his professional articleship at A. F. Ferguson & Co., a member firm of the PwC network, from August 2022 to June 2026.

His prior work spans audit and assurance, accounting and internal controls. It includes financial-statement preparation and review, account reconciliations, assessment of accounting estimates, and preparation and review of audit documentation. His experience also includes supervising engagement work and resolving accounting and evidence queries with finance teams.

At ZEHN, he shares responsibility with Imad Ul Amin, ACA, for the direction of the practice and the arrangements made for each engagement.

Both co-founders have completed US taxation coursework and practical tax-preparation training. This training is distinct from their professional qualifications and prior employment experience; the authority and delivery arrangements for any jurisdiction-specific work must be established for the engagement.

The experience described above belongs to the named founders’ professional histories. It is separate from ZEHN’s own engagement record and does not imply a current affiliation with, or endorsement by, their former employer.

Organised around the work

Each assignment begins with the requirement: the output needed, its intended use, the available information and the timing. Before work starts, we agree the scope and allocate preparation, checking and communication responsibilities.

The co-founders will organise delivery according to the work’s nature and complexity. They may prepare work directly, check one another’s preparation or arrange additional talent or specialist input where appropriate. Any such involvement, its responsibilities and permitted information access must be confirmed for the actual engagement.

ZEHN remains responsible for its agreed preparation, communicating issues and correcting its work where needed. The deliverable should distinguish completed work from missing information, assumptions and matters awaiting a decision. Appropriate checking is part of the agreed arrangement; it does not replace management approval or an engaging firm’s final professional review.

Clear across borders

Pakistan-based coordination is part of the working arrangement. For an international engagement, we agree how instructions will be exchanged, how work will be reviewed and which timing or jurisdiction requirements affect delivery.

Before receiving client records, confidentiality obligations and approved methods for transfer, storage and access must be agreed and implemented. Where specialist work or authorised submission is needed, the responsible party and the interface with ZEHN must also be confirmed.

This gives a prospective client concrete matters to evaluate before commissioning work: the people responsible, the proposed output, the delivery arrangements and the authority required. The same clarity matters whether the assignment concerns a business’s finance function or preparation for a professional firm.

The meaning of Zehn

Zehn means ten in German. For the founders, it expresses an aspiration for 10/10 in work quality, delivery and client care. It is a standard to work towards, rather than an achieved rating or a promise of perfection.

That aspiration has a practical consequence: prepare carefully, question what is unclear and take responsibility for putting a shortfall right.

Bring the requirement into focus
